WHAT IS IT?
  • The IP (Ingress Protection) certification is one of the international standards of the International Electrotechnical Commission and is governed by the CEI 60529 standard. It allows classifying the degree of protection and resistance to dust and water. At the established scale, the maximum level of water resistance is 8.
HOW IS THE TEST DONE?
  • The bag is immersed in fresh water during different time scales and at different depths and the resistance is established according to the results obtained.

CURIOSITIES
  • A person who practices diving dives between 18 and 30 meters, the KGUARD bag is suitable for this activity.
  • Buoyancy is directly related to density, salt water is 3% denser than fresh water, which is why buoyancy is better in salt water.
CERTIFICATION ENTITY

The immersion tests to obtain the degree of protection have been carried out by the independent entity TECNALIA, a research and technological development center whose functions are the evaluation of the quality and safety of products, processes and people.
